Math: Weekly computation

Today in class:
Language Arts; We read the chapter experiment and shared how our predictions turned out. We also discussed what surprised us in that chapter. Also in this chapter Elliot explains that the principal doesn't do anything about bullying. We discussed how that is very different for Hunt. We began reading the chapter Weird Girl.

Math: We continued data work. Today we worked with pictographs. Some students started working on using data from stem and leaf plots.

Science: Students are working "eggtra" hard on their projects. They are "eggcitedly" anticipating the big event on Friday. It would be "eggtraordinary" if parents could attend. (11:30-1:00)

Social Studies: Today we used a 3D landform map to locate a variety of land/water features which students have been studying. First students worked in groups with various pieces of the map and then we projected using the document camera to have full class discussions. Students identified many features.
Here is a picture of one section of the map.
